《當代儒學·第三輯》收集了改革開放以來、尤其是21世紀以來的中國“儒學復興運動”中所出現(xiàn)的新的儒家思想創(chuàng)造、新的儒學理論形態(tài)的研究文章。這些思想理論的探索，旨在回應當今時代的呼喚、解決當今社會的問題。在于：通過對當代儒學的研究與評介，推動儒學復興、中華民族文化復興的偉大事業(yè)。著眼之點，乃在于儒家的“活的思想”，意在推進當代儒學的思想原創(chuàng)、理論建構，推出當代儒學的重要學派、代表人物

楊永明：男，1968年生，四川通江人。1987—1991年在四川師范學院（今西華師范大學）歷史系學習，獲歷史學學士學位。畢業(yè)分配到宜賓師范高等專科學校政史系（今宜賓學院政府管理學院）任教。1996—1999年在四川大學歷史文化學院學習中國近現(xiàn)代史，獲歷史學碩士學位。2001年晉升為副教授。2004年3月任宜賓學院社會科學系（先后更名為政治系、政治與公共管理系、政府管理學院）副主任、思想政治理論課教學部（后更名為馬克思主義學院）副主任（副院長）。2008年7月兼任四川思想家研究中心副主任（主持工作）。2009年10月任四川思想家研究中心主任。2011年晉升教授。
