詩集采用漢英對照的形式，共收入123首短詩。詩歌采用兒童視角，有意嘗試從兒童的思維和眼光來認識和體悟世界，詩人嘗試讓自己的靈感、想象和孩子們的天真、童趣實現(xiàn)有效對接，以求用童心童眼看世界，進而呈現(xiàn)出具有獨特審美的詩歌作品。詩歌主要取材于詩人在現(xiàn)實生活中的所見、所思、所悟。選材貼近生活，從細微之處著眼，從小處破題，由小見大、由淺入深，力求家長或孩子們讀后能產(chǎn)生心靈的共鳴，可以從中得到啟悟，實現(xiàn)藝術(shù)審美和個人情趣的陶冶。
車延高，1956年生于山東萊陽，武漢大學經(jīng)濟學博士，中國作家協(xié)會會員。1979年開始業(yè)余文學創(chuàng)作，有詩歌、雜文、散文、隨筆、小說、報告文學等作品發(fā)表于各類報紙雜志。著有詩集《日子就是江山》《把黎明驚醒》《向往溫暖》《車延高詩選》等和散文集《醉眼看李白》。獲第八屆十月文學獎·詩歌獎、第一屆漢語詩歌雙年十佳獎、第五屆魯迅文學獎·詩歌獎等。

星星一直躲在天上
星星天黑了才肯出來
