《藝術(shù)英語(yǔ) 文化閱讀》(第1冊(cè))(Enqlish Reading on Arts and Culture)是“藝術(shù)英語(yǔ)系列教材”之一，作為廣西藝術(shù)學(xué)院學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)校本教材使用。每單元安排圍繞單元主題的Text A、Text B、Text C、Text D四篇課文，每篇課文各有側(cè)重，Text A 可供教師用于課堂教學(xué)，Text C 可供學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)使用，Text B和Text D則可作為學(xué)生的自主檢測(cè)材料。Text A和Text C的生詞按照出現(xiàn)在文章的順序呈現(xiàn)在文章的末尾，供學(xué)生在無(wú)法通過(guò)上下文或構(gòu)詞法等猜測(cè)詞義時(shí)快速查看。Text B和Text D的生詞和短語(yǔ)則列在課文前面，使得學(xué)生在進(jìn)行自主檢測(cè)時(shí)對(duì)文章的生詞有一個(gè)基本的了解。Text A 和Text C的Notes版塊對(duì)文中出現(xiàn)的文化現(xiàn)象作了注解和說(shuō)明。此外，各篇文章末均標(biāo)明字?jǐn)?shù)，以便于估算閱讀速度。教材收入Guangxi Arts University，Art Institutes，Masters and Works，Dramas，Chinese Operas，Painting Schools，Movies，Knowledge of Art，F(xiàn)estivals等內(nèi)容，創(chuàng)造性地加入了廣西藝術(shù)學(xué)院和廣西本地文化的內(nèi)容，幫助學(xué)生掌握文化藝術(shù)的一般用語(yǔ)和本科學(xué)生英語(yǔ)考級(jí)（包括二、四、六級(jí)）所需掌握的主要詞匯。
